imageThis Schmid boiler contains a durable, electronically-controlled water-cooled moving grate which is designed to deal with heavier fuels such as waste wood or other specialized fuels. The moving grate agitates the fuel which allows the boiler to drive off additional moisture and ensure an efficient burn from the material. The durable triple layered ceramic and steel combustion chamber includes flexible dilation joints that allow for expansion and contraction which extends the life of the furnace. Additional features such as automatic firetube cleaning, ash removal, flue gas recirculation and the multicyclone enable lower particulate emissions and reduced maintenance costs. The boiler is also controlled by a five circuit lambda control system that monitors its performance and maintains efficiency.
